why is it an advantage that bundle sheath chloroplast lack grana

Due to absence of grana so no photophosphorylation thus no formation of O2 takes place.... It is important because RuBisCO has an affinity for both CO2 and O2..
to prevent this plant ensures to keep the cell wall of bundle sheath cell impermeable to gases and thick. As we have to produce glucose in CO2 is formed we requires that O2 must not bind with RuBisCO.....
