Firms all over the country follow innovative service these days. A service provided by the firm to the customer is to satisfy the customer in an efficient way and to achieve the firm’s goal in the market.

Designing and developing an innovative service is so challenging for a firm.

• Service is process oriented and should be innovative to satisfy the customers.

• It is immeasurable and describing an innovative service in words is really difficult.

• It varies with the communication or the type of services delivered to the customer in a short term basis or for a long term.

• As service involves both customers and employees the innovations have become critical.

• The time is another factor that makes it difficult as it involves a sequence of interrelated steps and activities from different personnel. It is difficult to correlate and coordinate these elements on time to deliver it on time.

• If the service provided for a very long term there exists much more complexity in defining it.

• Also every service varies according to the product and the customers.

Hence these characteristics are found to be the challenging factors to create a new innovative service.
