When we can breath by the mouth then, their was no filteration of air takes place. In our (human's) nose the filteration of air takes place by the hair which are present in our nose . Due to that the dust and other harmful particles (ie, polluted particles in air etc.) can't enter in treachea .

If we take breath by mouth, then these particles can easily enter in our body or treachea this causes the asthma like problems.

Hence, that is considered that the unhealthy breath in through the mouth.

respiratory system. Hence, to avoid this, we must breathe through our nose, where

these particles are filtered by the fine hairs and mucus present in nostrils.
