why is it cooler in regions further away from equator...class 7...type answer dena pls

because near the equator maximum sunlight falls their and near the poles the sunlight cannot reach as it is tilted at almost 23°,.........

as the latitude increases the rays become more and more slanting. slanting rays spread over a larger land area than vertical rays .also,they pass through a thicker layer of the atmosphere which absorbs a large part of their heat
