Why is it dangerous to stand on a moving boat?

They'll flip in a heartbeat if you stand up. As the boat gets bigger though it also gets heavier but its centre of gravity stays in relatively the same location, just at or even below the waterline. And the heavier a boat gets the less effect moving the mass of one human has on it.
