why is it desirable to make fabrics by combining natural and synthetic fibres

it is desirable to make natural and synthetic fibers because the combination of these two produce a fabric which possess the  features of both usually natural fiber are hard and shrinking but if it will be combined with a synthetic fiber it will become soft and can be used very easily
