Why is it difficult to burn a heap of green leaves than dry leaves?

Dry leaves does not contain any moisture while the green leaves contain moisture and the ignition temperature of green leaves are higher than that of dry leaves.
Hence,it is difficult to burn a heap of green leaves than a dry leaves.
