becausr thin strip makes more pressure on sholder whlie wider strip less pressure as we know pressure is equal to force upon unit per area there fore the school bag is made up of wider strips...

because thin strip cover less surface area..while strong strip cover more surface area.....means in one sentence we can say that force is inversely proportional to surface area.....if area increases force decreases...if area decreases force increases...
