We all know husk of cocucut is made up of sclerenchyma tissues.
Sclerenchyma tissues are made uo off dead cells and it's walls are also thickned as the hemicellulose and liginin are deposited there.Sclerenchyma also gives rigidity and stiffness to the plant.
