Answer:
Hello newcomer first of all congratulations on joining the Brainly community.
It is because
- the Earth formed a very very long time ago around some billion years ago
- The structure of Earth is very rough and irregular. plz wait for some more time . by that time you can answer some questions to add points . so that you can ask more questions and gain higher ranks .
- It is very big in size .
- To get information about formation of Earth geologists have to find the rocks which are as old as the Earth. That task is quite difficult as Earth is geologically active it replaces it's crust in cycles . So it gets difficult to get a Rock that is as old as Earh .
HOPE THIS HELPED YOU :-)^_^(^^)

Answer:
It is so difficult to determine Earth's inner structure because we cannot actually view the interior of the Earth. Due to the intense heat and pressure, technology has not been able to penetrate past 12 km into the Earth. ... The waves' speed and path provide us with details about the Earth's structure.
hope it helps you ...........
