According to science, when the surface area of the body is less, pressure exerted on the object is higher.

Thus, when we walk on the marshy ground, the surface area of our foot is quite small.

Consequently, the small surface area is enough to add enough pressure on the ground thus letting it go inside.

Answer: As we know that the lesser the surface area the higher the pressure. Our feet don't have much surface area to walk on a marshy land because the pressure exerted by our feet is enough to let the ground go inside. If we have a very broad feet, it would be easier for us to walk on marshy land.

Hope this helps you✌️
