Why is it easier for a neutron to penetrate the nucleus?

Because a neutron doesn't have a charge, so it wouldn't throw off the charge of the atom.

Its a nuetron doesnot contain a charge particle, so if it does it will repell and doesn't Throw off the atoms in it..
