Ur answer is:
Sharp knife has smooth surface so it cut easily while blunt knife does not have smooth surface. Hence it is difficult.
U may take an example like car moves properly on smooth road while not on other.

It is easier to chop vegetables with a sharp knife than a blunt knife because when we apply the same force on both the knife we observed that the sharp knife cuts the vegetable properly rather than the blunt knife . This happens because the same amount of pressure is applied on a less area in a sharp knife . Whereas in a blunt knife same amount of pressure is applied on a larger area . And when an amount of pressure is is applied in a larger area the pressure distributes in the whole area . Whereas is in a less area the pressure is more as it is a smaller area . Therefore , it is easier to chop vegetables with a sharp knife rather than blunt knife .
