It is easier to gammer a sharp nail into a wood than a blunt one as we know pressure = force / area. As sharp nail has reduced area as compared to blunt one.... Then for a given amount of force in both cases i. e. fixed force... pressure will be greater on sharp nail.. and it will easily hammerd into wood bcoz pressure is inversely proportional to Area....
