Why is it easier to lift a heavy stone when fully immersed in the water than lifting it on the ground ?

Inside water, there is a greater force of buoyancy , which acts opposite to the force of gravity i.e. upward, because of this it is easier to lift a heavy stone when it is fully immersed in water than lifting it on the ground.

Because liquid have tendency of buoyancy which is greater than the weight of the stone.
