the force applied by us is less but the pressure exerted by a pointed needel is only on a single point which makes it easier to use than a blunted needel which distributes the pressure and force all over the surface are of the blunt needel

it is easier to sew with a pointed needle than with a blinded needle because the end of pointed needle is very sharp and exerts much less pressure and can get inside the clothes easily
