We know that momentum depends on mass and velocity.
Velocity taken same, the mass of a tennis ball is much less than that of a cricket ball.
So the momentum of a cricket ball will be more than that of a tennis ball. That's why it is easier to stop a tennis ball than a cricket ball at the same speed.
