Though they have same velocity, but the mass of cricket ball is more compared to the tennis ball. It is easier to stop a tennis ball than a cricket ball moving with same speed because the force required to stop a moving body is directly proportional to its velocity.

because the mass off a cricket is more than of a. tennis ball so it carry more moventum in it's self this the reason for above hope it help u
