Because seawater saline or salty in nature as it contains a lot of salt due to which it has higer density as compare to fresh water.
Due to this higher density it is easier to swim in seawater than in fresh water.

Answer:It is because sea water contains more amount of salt as compared to river/fresh water as a result its density increases and hence the buoyant force increases which makes it easier to swim in seawater
