why is it easy to hammer a nail in to the wood but not a bolt

Nail has a pointed end while a screw (bolt) has a blunt end. As surface area decreases, pressure increases. Since nail has less surface area when compared with a screw, it is easier to drive a nail into wood as pressure is more.

cause it gains our stamina or energy to hammer a nail than hammer a bolt on the wood
