Why is it easy to hammer a pointed nail in the wall than a blunt nail?

A pointed nail has less area while on therefore other hand a blunt nail has more area as compared to a pointed nail.More area less pressure and less area more pressure.The it easy to hammer a pointed nail in the wall than a blunt nail
