Why is it easy to locate a particular book in a library??​

I noted that there were several of those carts, all containing special collections which should have been on the appropriate shelf, but which weren't!

I have even had librarians on Quora defend these weird practice. Good grief! The library might just as well catalog their books, but then file them by the color of the book's cover, or the type of binding, or the race of the author!

In those libraries, I have problems finding materials. To those libraries, I no longer go.

The sorting of books by name in a library makes it easy for the librarian to give us the required book quickly....
