Why is it importance for India to stand up to the world

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, today launched the Stand Up India initiative, which aims to boost entrepreneurship among the Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and Women. The initiative envisages loans to at least two aspiring entrepreneurs from these categories. The loan shall be in the ten lakh to one crore rupee range. 5100 e-rickshaws were also distributed on the occasion.

India has always been known as the land of culture, and tradition. The current trends of westernisation are both a boon and a bane. Though the west has provided us with hi-tech objects for our pleasure, it is abysmally imbecile about providing the meaning of life. Swami Vivekananda told - 'the east should science from the west and the west should learn culture and religion from the east. Only then can we build a perfect society'. India must teach her ancient principles of religion to the world to bring about universal harmony.

Further, being the largest democracy in the world, India must set an example by her economic, social, and religious progress.

It is high time that we the people of India realised the value of our country, because ONE INDIVIDUAL CAN BRING ABOUT THE CHANGE. A good individual can inspire the society around him. Many such societies can contribute to the upliftment of our nation, which can MAKE THIS WORLD A BETTER PLACE TO LIVE IN.
