heyy here is ur answer!!
If you were to ask any two different people what they thought an ideal democracy would be, you would almost certainly get two different answers.

Would an ideal democracy be representational or direct?

Would it be parliamentary or presidential?

Population based or geography based?

Federal or Unitary?

Honest and well informed people could disagree.

That being said, I think there are a couple factors that everyone can agree would be essential to having an ideal democracy.

A well informed and educated electorate where every voter is able to, at a minimum, have enough of an understanding of the pressing political issues of their day to make informed decisions about them.Complete enfranchisement of all adult citizens.Full voter participation.Strong protections for freedom of conscience, speech, assembly, and the press.Strong civil rights protections for all citizens to protect against the tyranny of the majority.Separation of power, with each branch designed to have checks and balances on the other branches.A well established, widely trusted, and oppositional national media.A strong sense of civic duty instilled in all voters and leaders to act in accordance with the common good and not personal or factional interest.A limitation on the extent to which private or narrow interests can influence policy making through financial contributions.
