There are many factors regarding Nepal being a secular state, but why i personally like the concept is because:
*A country shouldn’t be strictly based on any religious idea which represent people’s ritual and beliefs.
*Acknowledgement of equal respect on religion and it’s practices
*Religion should never be dragged into political matter. They came from a different course and so should be kept out of political radius.
*Declaration of Secular state purports to be officially neutral. neither this, nor that just equal. It avoids preferential bias among diversified community
*Crucial part of secularism is that it does not support religion or irreligion i.e it identify and address not only religious groups but also those who are non believers which i’d like to call free thinker.
and that’s it my friend. These are the reason why i like Nepal as a secular state.
