It is important that we conserve wildlife and forests which we have inherited because they constitute our most precious wealth. Forests are the habitat for wildlife and they are an important constituent of the various food chains and food webs. Forests are needed for the smooth functioning of biogeochemical cycles.
If foresrts are destroyed animals will be forced to go to other places .During this they move to residential areas and get killed. They affect the biodiversity of many areas resulting in climatic changes such as global warming and increases risk of floods and droughts
