It is important to have a nucleus in the cell because it is the main metabolic centre of the cell.it contains all the chromosomes and some other important genes. It also has the DNA. It has the Nucleolus which is the ribosome producing factory. It controls all the organelles of the cell. It also contains all the information in the cell.
