Why is it important to promote gender equality in india?

It is important to promote gender equality in India because although we know that we are in 21st century but yet we are not able to or can say are not ready to accept that womens empowerment in companies and on different platforms can bring to us a vast difference and would result in better performance because womens have an intellectual mind which is focused too. Which is suppressed in our country and hense we are still underdeveloped. Women should be given the right to dress as per their desire which is suppressed too...

To emphasize the need for the corporate intervention ,the government has included promotion of gender equality.and gender equality focuses on developing support system for women to bridge the gender gap.
