Why is it incorrect to say that a sample of helium at 50°C is twice as hot as a sample of helium at 25°C?

Whenever we say these terms like double hot or double temperature we mean it by the S.I. unit of temp which is Kelvin

50°C = 323K

25°C = 298K

So it is not correct to say it double and 323 is not double of 323.

It must be taken care that we are using S.I. units.
