the name 'Camp Green Lake' is ironic because the expectation of it was supposed to be beautiful and scenic with a nice lake but in reality 'Camp Green Lake' was blank, bleak, drought stricken, deserted, barren and there was no lake at all. It hadn't rained there for 110 years.
