It is more dangerous to hold electric appliances with wet hands than dry hand as water(h2o) is an good conductor of electricity. generally water is a good conductor of electricity and also our body . thus we get electric shocks

Prevention to protect from electric shocks:-

  • When your body is wet wear a rubber gloves in hand before touching the switch or electric wire and wear a slipper in foot
  • In case a person may get an electric shocks :(I) Cut off the main power supply or (ii) beat with wooden stick or any insulator on the electric source
