why is it much easier to burst an inflated balloon with a needle than (directly) with the finger? Give reasons.

It happens because of pressure difference in both cases

As we know the pressure = force / area


And area of needle is much smaller then area of finger.

That's why with a needle it is easy to burst an inflated balloon as compare to finger.
