It is necessary because the food we consume gets stuck in between our teeth and bacteria starts growing.If not cleaned they start breaking down the food particle thus causing bad breath and other oral infections

Ok.Our Saliva is acidic having the pH of 6.35 and when it is secreted the mouth gets acidic too.As bacterias can't grow in acidic places. We generally use toothpastes which contains Calcium fluorides and other elements to reduce that pH back to normal and neutralize the effect. so it is necessary to clean mouth for maintaining the optimal state
