Why is it necessary to conserve our forest resources?

It is necessary to conserve forest resources because forests provides us oxygen for breathing, food, furniture and paper. The forests are also helpful for causing rainfall, forests prevent soil erosion. They are used as fuel, shelter for animals. If we don't conserve forests, carbon dioxide will increase in the earth's atmosphere causing global warming.
