It is not advisable to burn plastic and other synthetic fibres because when burnt, they release dangerous toxics which are injurious to health and cause deadly diseases. They also cause air pollution and mainly releases carbon dioxide in air.

If we burn plastics or synthetic fibres it gives a odd or foul smell. The smell produced is harmful. Also it shrinks and sticks to the substance on which it was burned
