why is it not advisable to wear synthetic cloths in a laboratory or working with fire in a kitchen ?

because synthetic fibres are inflammable so they can catch fire easily so it is advised not to wear synthetic clothes in laboratory or in kitchen

Synthetic fibres are made up of polyester material. Generally all clothes are made up of some kinds of fibres, but polyester material contains harmful chemicals.

So, if a person wearing synthetic cloth catches fire, the melting of polyester will act like an adhesive to the skin causing third degree burn.

Hence it is not at all advisable to wear synthetic clothes and work near fire, as it will catch fire more easily.
