Why is it not desirableto have big tree like mangoesthat provide shade,in wheat or paddy fields?

if there will be big tree like Mango tree it will take up the nutrients,water,etc. needed for crops beside that they may give shades to crop preventing sunlight also they will use the space where more crops may be grown.
