Modern form of Democracies are representative Democracies. Not having elections will surely impact our society and will lead to the following:
a. Owing to large territory and large population it is not possible for people to assemble together and make policies for themselves, hence representatives are to be chosen.
b. It will lead to chaos and turmoil in the society.
c. Not having elections is against the democratic principles and will pave the way for an autocratic form of government with absolute powers.

1. rule of people is only possible without any election if all people can sit together everyday and take all the decisions . but this is not possible in large community nor it is possible for everyone to have the time and knowledge to take decision on all matters . that is why in mot democracies people rule through their representatives
