Answer: In the solar cells, the energy is obtained only during the day, when the Sun shines. k So, it increases the cost of using solar panels as the source of energy. So, the solar cell is not used to meet all our energy needs.

Solar cells are not used in our daily routine because :

1) solar cells work on the basis of solar energy which is not provided at night.

2)Also in the winter season sunlight is minimum.

3)Solar energy can't provide enough intensity of energy to meet our daily energy needs.

4)They take lot of time in completing any work

depending on the intensity of light.

For eg : solar cookers take much time in cooking food in low intensity of light.
