If you see properly, we cannot replace the specific species and mostly we plant only one kind of plants all over, right?
There is already a debated issue on whether the succeeding forest will have to the same biodiversity as the previous one. If the forest is replaced by only one species of trees, and other vegetation is prevented from growing back then, a monoculture forest similar to agriculture crops would end up as a result.
This was what experts say, but if you ask me then can we anyway replace all those small ,big species; and some are even unknown to us! Forest is so beautiful, mysterious that even if we want, plantation can never get it all back which was lost.
Answer: Plantation cannot make up for the loss of primary forests , as the later have envolved over centuries and have a variety of organisms that modified or man - made forests do not have.
