I may be a bit overemotional with things as they’re developing, so I cry your pardon if this answer is too wordy and (perhaps) too vitriolic.

Why are politics everywhere?

Heck, what is politics? The dictionary states it is “the art or science of government or governing, especially the governing of a political entity, such as a nation, and the administration and control of its internal and external affairs.”

So, what is to govern? Same source says “to make and administer the public policy and affairs of (a state, for example); exercise sovereign authority over.”

And policy? “ Policy is … a principle by which the conduct of affairs can be guided.”

So, in my own words, politics is an art or science geared toward administering the (human) affairs of a geographic region (a “state,” or “nation,” or even a community) applying principles learned in the past or developed in the present toward improving said region’s internal and external affairs.

That might be the original intention of politics. It had good intentions. And, as everyone knows, there is a highway to a certain fictitious region that is paved with good intentions.

At present, politics is better known as the art and science of bilking as many individuals as possible with the least effort by practitioners of this “art”. “To bilk” is to defraud, to cheat, to swindle.

As practiced by our current crop of politicians, it is the art of swindling the greatest amount of individuals of their hard-earned property by promising either a grand dream or “free stuff” in exchange for being accomplices in a criminal exchange.

I must add that not all individuals within the higher levels of government are politicians; and not all “politicians” are swindlers. About two and a half percent of those called by that name are actually moderately honest folk who actually want to help their communities by implementing honest policy.

The rest are NOT conducive to your physical, mental, spiritual, or financial health. They are … not nice folk. (This is a family-friendly website.)

So, why are politics everywhere?

Because current public educational philosophy’s goal is to ensure individuals cannot think critically. “To educate” means to draw out; in my time (the 1970s) and these days it was to create dependence on authority.

Because what cannot be nailed down through
