why is it so that humans have not still discovered a way to live without oxygen?

Anonymous: oxygen is not replacable because it is need to react with oxygen and form ATP for energy which any other element could nto do and there is not method to resolve it unlesss there is a whole new organism in esistence

Oxygen is not replaceable because it reacts with our heamoglobin forming oxyhaemoglobin which undergoes a cascade of reactions and further goes near tissues to release oxygen to them which makes the tissues produce ATP  when oxygen reacts with glucose to give the ultimate energy that you are using to read the answer now and i used my ATP to type the answer
so it is of course essential for the body to produce ATP which is only produced by this reaction

oxygen + glucose-------> ATP(IN TISSUES)
