Why is it that all my history teachers say that British did many good things to Indians?
They say that we Indians were too focused on our culture and old malpractice performed and British were the one who tried to fix this and they most importantly say that Indian people are blind and accept the truth without analysis...
is it true?

no i don't think it is true. because india is known mainly for its respectful culture , in reality Britishers infected indians by their culture . india also known as hindustan is the richest country of world in eighteenth century before Britishers
