DURING HIGH WIND SPEED, THE WIND BLOWS AWAY THE WATER VAPOUR ABOVE A WATER BODY AND PREVENTS THE AIR FROM GETTING SATURATED AND THUS, THERE IS AN INCREASE IN THE RATE OF EVAPORATION

Wind speed is one of the factors that affects the rate of evaporation. The rate of evaporation increases with the wind speed. With the increase in wind speed, the particles of water vapour move away with the wind, decreasing the amount of water vapour in the surrounding.
