Why is it that the person driving the bike does not tend to resist change in his state??

Actually when a person is on bike he or she is in a state of motion and there is tendency of every object to mantain its state like the state of rest or motion and so due to inertia he or she cant resist the change in state
so when ever he or she applies break the person moves forward that due to inertia
