It is told because the trains apply a kind of magnetic force on the surroundings when they move with a high speed. so we may come under the train. that is why it is told to be away from the train.

Because sometimes train moves very fast through the platform. So low pressure is created near the train. (Because velocity is inversely proportional to pressure) Which became less than the atmospheric pressure. So one can be attracted by the train. (Due to low-pressure, air moves fastly to the train. With this air, you got pushed towards the train.)
