It is obviously very difficult to travel to center of the earth. It is not possible with the current technology neither with the future technology too. Earth has a inner core and an outer core beneath its surface. they are extremely hot as the Sun's surface. One should need a suit that withstand that temperature. Certainly there is no such suit since now. Scientists are still working on it.

Another problem is the pressure that builds around you. Now consider you are digging a hole from a pole of the earth and jumping in to that. We are experiencing the atmospheric pressure on the surface about 14.7 pounds/square inch. At the center of the earth, the pressure will be around 300 times more than the its surface. You might reach the center after getting squeezed by the pressure.

The above are the two reasons why it is very difficult to reach the center of the earth but there are lot more to go.
