There are several factors when considering going inside the earth. If you try to just down deep into the earth, you will experience higher temperatures and pressure. You will also have to supply your own oxygen. The air is thinner deeper inside a cave, but it also doesn’t naturally drop, it rises. So going down, air would have to be forced in. After it is forced in, it also have to be recycled, because your body expels carbon dioxide, which will get poisonous to humans.
