It is wrong to be superstitious because superstitions don't generally have any scientific proof to hold them true. Superstitions are generally some peculiar rituals and oractices that benefit nobody.

Eg- Don't cross the road after a black cat

Nowadays, they are viewed as some age old practices which don't hold true for modern day societies.
