because when jewellery made in 24 carat gold it is So soft & to make it hard it is made up of 22 carat or 18 carat gold. please make me brainlist answer for the question

hey mate here is your answer...
the gold of 24 carat is very soft and thats why it bends easily...
hence generally the gold is taken 18 or 22 carat and is alloyed with very small amount of silver or copper to make it hard..it made the ornaments durable amd hard
